Job Description Job Description: Summary:The Technical Application Support and System Administrator is responsible for maintaining, upgrading and managing the software, hardware and network related to Project and Portfolio Management System and CapEx Prioritization Tool.Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role as well as the ability to diagnose and resolve problems quickly
– and communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users.
The primary goal is to ensure that the technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.Responsibilities: Build and Maintain Application and Report server compatible with underlying O/S and Patches provided by Vendor.
Coordinate with Functional Teams to identify needs and work with Network, Server Administrators and Database Administrators to design application server environments Maintain metadata and create and maintain Operational Support documents Facilitate automated reports using database queries using scheduling engine from the application Respond to requests received by functional user(s) in timely manner Create Stories/Bugs/Tasks for minor / major enhancement / upgrade.
Provide support in Quality Assurance testing (Unit/Integrated/UAT) for Stories/Bugs/Tasks Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements Troubleshoot issues and outages Upgrade systems with new releases and models Build technical documentation, manuals and adherence to IT policies Be the Single Point of Contact with the respective vendor for support Maintain the SLA of Incident Tickets/Service Requests for responding and resolving in IT Work Management System i.e.
JIRA.Required: 2 years of experience with SQL database knowledge, able to write queries/stored procedures and able to handle data analysis.
1 years of experience with Oracle database with basic skills of query and data handling.
Experienced in IIS
– 6.0 and higher WINDOWS Server Administration Skills include: oProven excellence with enterprise engineering technologies and deliverablesoCollaboration skills and the ability to interact and collaborate with other IT teams including application development, testing, security and compliance and project management office, as well as functional customers and external vendorsoAbility to communicate all aspects of the job requirements, including the creation of formal documentationoDemonstrates a sense of urgency in completing tasks and resolving issues in order to deliver quality projects on time and within budgetoStrong problem solving, time management and organizational skills.
