The Boeing Company seeks a Support Equipment (SE) Manager to lead an Engineering team within the Boeing Global Services division.

This Engineering leadership position will manage a multi-disciplined Support Equipment team which has the responsibility to achieve the goals of multiple defense programs and platforms in a variety of life cycle stages.

This management position and the associated team will be located at the Boeing facility in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The selected applicant will report to a Senior Manager based in St Louis and will drive execution of existing program tasks as well as support efforts to grow the business.

This technical leader will ensure robust technical processes and procedures are in place and consistently used.

In addition, this individual will be responsible for integrating products and capabilities with other sites, supporting cost reduction initiatives and leading continuous improvement efforts.

This role has significant opportunity for leadership exposure and skill development; ability to execute independently and setting new standards for technical excellence is expected.

Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for the achievement of first time quality and on time delivery of engineering products and services.

Manage personnel requirements including staffing, forecasting, assignments, training, critical skill knowledge management and advancement opportunities.

Collaborate with other teams to ensure program success and the growth of the business.

Ensure the team understands and utilizes appropriate processes and procedures.

Organize and prioritize efforts across multiple programs.

Security Clearance: This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S.

Security Clearance for which the U.S.

Government requires U.S.

Citizenship.

An interim and/or final U.S.

Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 3 years of experience in leading or managing a multi-disciplinary engineering project or team of 5 or more people.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering 5 years of experience in a variety of hands-on engineering roles Desired Experience, Skills and Qualifications: Led a team who executed government required Earned Value Management (EVM) 1 years of experience with Support Equipment/Test Equipment Design 1 years of experience working on a response to a request for proposals (RFP) and contract support Typical Education / Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g.

Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g.

PhD, Master3 years’ related work experience).

In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation Hybrid/Telecommute: This Hybrid position allows some telecommuting.

The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.
