Position Description
Under the supervision of a Section Leader, the Bilingual (English/Spanish) Support Associate assists the Customer Service Department in completing the various duties in the Customer Service Department, including translation and Spanish speaking requirements as needed.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Assist with any Spanish speaking needs and or required translation of correspondence and/or documents
• May require standing for long periods of time and may be outside of the office. Due to the current COVID situation this position is acting as an acceptance agent.
• Handle complaint letters/calls
• Generate Information Request Letters
• Assist with Applicant Response and/or Return to Sender issues
• Assist with Post-Issuance issues
• Provide Call Back support
• Communicate with applicants, congressional offices, and government managers

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• High school diploma is required (Bachelors preferred) (or) 4 years of experience as a Support Associate Level II or III, (or) 4 years of experience data entering in a high volume production environment.
• Four (4) years of general office experience.
• Three (3) years of experience utilizing a variety of office software, specifically MS Work, MS Power Point, MS Excel and MS Outlook
• All candidates must pass a pre-employment language assessment measuring their proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in Spanish. Candidates must score at an Advanced Level on the pre-employment assessment administered by ALTA Language Services to remain eligible for consideration for the position.
• You will need to pass both the Acceptance Agent test and the Spanish speaking, reading and writing test.

This position requires the ability to receive a Government Agency Investigation – Public Trust.
