JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSE Processes and issues identification badges.
has constant contact with Human Resources issuing new employee identification badges, and badge numbers.
Assists the Security Coordinator with the operation of the security Control Center during emergencies.
Responsibilities ESSENTIAL KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES In accordance with applicable policies and procedures Processes and issues Employee, Contractor, Physician, Resident, Fellow, Visiting Physician, Student and other identification badges.
Coordinates with Human Resources prior to issuing new employee identification badges.
Coordinates badge numbering with Security Specialist.
During emergencies, Assists the Security Coordinator with the operation of the security Control Center.
Performs other security related duties as directed by the Manager of Security.
Maintains a working knowledge of security control center operations and equipment to include telephones, FAX, radios, emergency radios, Northern System alarms, HUGs system, CCTV include monitoring and recall of fixed and Pan/Tilt/Zoom cameras, Computer Aided Dispatch, and other associated security software programs.
Familiar with all security related and Department policies and procedures.
Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Required Education High School Diploma/GED Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Excellent customer service skills Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality PREFERRED Qualifications Previous security experience
