nn Production Support Lead Our client is looking for a Production Support Lead to join their team.
In this position, you will lead a team of engineers in the maintenance, implementation and administration of custom applications and tools for the finance industry.
This role requires close collaboration with internal and external teams, management, system owners, and operations groups to ensure the on-time delivery of these innovative applications.nn nn Additionally, you will: nn Drive, develop, and maintain solutions including custom software applications, third-party middleware tools, and DevOps tools Troubleshoot issues, address application service interruptions and vendor outages, and identify process improvements Oversee code migrations between development, QA and production environments Define and create methods for collecting/reporting metrics related to SLAs Define and ensure appropriate system monitoring of system Lead in process development, ensure code and job scheduling Apply hot fixes and version releases on a routine basis Perform routine system health checks ensuring optimization and stability of application and code Create and maintain support technical documentation Participate in Disaster Recovery exercises as needed Provide on-call, after hours support as needed nn What Gets You the Job?
nn 7+ years’ experience providing production support with custom applications written in .NET 5+ years’ experience working with and supporting relational databases 3+ years’ experience as a team lead In-depth knowledge of the software development life cycle Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective organizational and time management skills Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal) with the ability to interface with all levels of an organization Ability to work as an individual contributor and as a team collaborator Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field is preferred Familiarity with BizTalk or similar product is a plus Experience with automated builds and continuous integration is a plus Preferred experience in banking or financial services industry/environment nnSend us your resume today!nn nnWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
