A WORLD FIT FOR KIDS!
is offering exciting opportunities for qualified individuals to lead positive physical activity (PA) sessions with elementary and middle school students beginning January 12th.
Practice what you’ve learned in a real-world setting, build your resume and make a difference in young people’s lives!
Responsibilities are leading exercises and fun activities that include warm-up, dynamic/static stretching and skill development.
Sessions can also include dancing, fitness training, yoga, breathing/mindfulness or other activities to help build the students’ social, emotional, mental and motor skills.
Sessions will be two days a week, typically from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm.
Patrick Henry Middle School sessions are for an advanced afterschool fitness program.
We are currently hiring for the following schools:
Kenter Canyon Charter Elementary School – Wednesdays & Fridays
Stoner Avenue – Thursdays & Fridays
Westminster ES Math/Tech/Env.
Magnet – Tuesdays & Wednesdays
Patrick Henry Middle School – 2 days/week/TBD
Start Date: January 25, 2022
End Date: June 3, 2022
Requirements:
Experience with leading group exercise; certification in personal training or coaching sports; degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or exercise physiology are preferable but not required; Coach-Mentor with WFIT or similar past experience
Completion of In-person or virtual physical activity training provided by WFIT
Fully vaccinated
Compensation: $20/hour

Must have COVID 19 vaccine and weekly negative test per LAUSD protocols to enter campus
Ability to commute/relocate:
Los Angeles, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
