Customer Service – Order Entry

A well-established manufacturer of security entry equipment and ID cards, located in Chatsworth CA is seeking a professional person for their Order Entry – Client Services dept.

In addition to tasks assigned bymanagement, the responsibilities include:   

  • Accurate data entry, processing customer orders, communicate to sales team to verify all information is correct and clear up any missing information or inconsistencies on orders.
  • Order Entry Clerk must also verify customer and order information for correctness by checking it against previously obtained information or available databases as necessary.
  • Process contracts, purchase orders, etc. as required including copying and scanning of necessary documents for electronic filing.
  • Ensure delivery of excellent customer service through timely and accurate processing of orders, communication and coordination with other departments to resolve inquiries.
  • Build and maintain customer loyalty by providing prompt friendly service.
  • Answering incoming customer service calls and replies to emails.
  • Receives and takes charge of the RMA process from beginning to closing.
  • Other duties as assigned by Office Manager.

  • Relationships.  This position requires personal contact with all Company staff for Product Support and Development, Marketing, the Executive Staff and Accounting for invoicing purposes.

Educationand Experience:

A High School diploma is required. AA Preferred, BA is a plus,minimum of 2 years of experience is required.    

To perform this job successfully, knowledge and experiencewith all Microsoft Office applications is required. Knowledge of SAP BusinessOne preferred.
