Merchant Support Specialist | EXCEL | Fashion | Hybrid Schedule $22 per hr

*Helpmates is currently searching for detail-oriented Merchant Support Data Entry Specialists with a strong knowledge of EXCEL to work for a leading Fashion Retailer in their Downtown LA Headquarters. If you love fashion and are good with numbers – we want to hear from you!*

This role supports the Merchandising department. The Merchant Support Assistant enters and updates purchase orders, enters markdowns, and generates business reports. The Merchant Support admin is dedicated to specific businesses, supporting up to 6 Merchants.

*Responsibilities of Order Processor/Data Entry: *
* Using Excel, process Reorders utilizing re-order form to produce purchase orders for buyer-designated quantities taken off of statistical reporting.

* Runs weekly/daily reports and is responsible for formatting.

* Process “Close Outs” and produce purchase orders as directed by the Buying team.

* Process import orders and produce subsequent purchase orders. Work closely with buyer and team to gain and maintain understanding of specified business area via frequent touch bases, including key vendors, preferred report formats etc.

* Process purchase orders on all newly purchased product and set up for re-order as needed.

* Add/delete SKU’s as needed for reorder system

* As directed by buyer, input designated SKU’s for markdown into appropriate merchandising system.

*Requirements and Qualifications of Merchandise Assistant : *Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills, with an emphasis on Excel and Outlook. *Excel skills must be at a high level or advanced*
* Must be a team player, exhibiting strong communication skills and flexibility
* Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills, attention to detail and accuracy
* *_Covid Vaccine with Booster is required_*
* Professional demeanor and customer service oriented
* *An interest in Fashion or a degree/classes in fashion is preferred*

*Note: Must be able to commute to Downtown Los Angeles. Position will have a Hybrid work schedule with at least 2 days per week in the office Downtown.*
