Group Benefits Account Manager
Salary: $55,000-65,000
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Independent Agency position: Must have prior experience managing client’s life and health accounts, with groups ranging from 2-25 lives.

Attend open enrollments and client meetings with the Producers.

Assist with marketing/RFPs, changes to enrollments and implementation of benefit plans
Will be responsible for managing renewals, open enrollments, making presentations and handling the day to day service.

Must have excellent communication, computer and time management skills.

Excel experience is a must.

EPIC agency management system is a strongly preferred.
Develop and maintain working relationship with the various company marketing representatives and underwriters
Maintain up to date knowledge of the various carriers’ rating plans and programs
Maintain favorable relationship with clients, producers, and employees
Develop and maintain strong technical knowledge of employee benefit lines of coverage and rating
The position will handle daily contact with Employee Benefits clients and/or agency’s Life and Health Customers.

The responsibilities of this role include handling service requests, coordinating renewals, working with underwriters to place coverage, etc.
Requirements:
3-5 years of health insurance and ancillary products experience
Life and Health Insurance License
