IT Support Specialist

Strategic Imperative

· The Information Technology Support/System Admin is a hands-on position and will support and maintain all aspects of Mathnasium’s IT infrastructure. This position operates with a certain degree of autonomy making excellent time management skills required for both success in this position and success as a company.

Primary Objectives Provide functional. cost-effective, technology resources and support. (internet, phone systems, computers, software, etc.)

· Manage daily support, maintenance, and troubleshooting of technology.

· Manage On-Site and Cloud Infrastructures. (Amazon Web Services, User Security Access Controls, IP / Port whitelisting, security groups, snapshot management.)

Essential Job Functions

· Maintain HQ Infrastructure (Domain, Phones, End User Support, License Management.)

· Establish and Maintain Information Technology Related Policies and Procedures

· Procurement of Information Technology related equipment and services

· Establish and Maintain Disaster Recovery Plan

· Training on New Systems and tools

· Data and File Security (DropBox and Symantec Endpoint Security.)

· G-Suite Administration

Examples of Key Projects/Goals:

· Ongoing Radius Infrastructure Development and Support

· International DNS acquisition and SSL cert application for each Domain acquired.

· Managing IT support requests and project work simultaneously.

Required Skills

· Routing/Networking/Firewalls/Cabling

· Microsoft Server Management

· Group Policy Management

· Storage Management

· File Permissions Management

· Network Security and data access control

Preferred Skills Web Development (HTML, CSS, javascript, etc.)

· Microsoft SQL Administration

· Experience with Amazon Web Services Administration and Functionality

· Time Management

· Knowledge using DropBox(Cloud), Fonality(VOIP), Symantec(AV), Adobe Creative Cloud(Design),

G-Suite(Email).

Qualities Can work independently

· Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
