Whip Media Group is looking for a LA based IT support associate.
You will work with our IT manager in supporting our global user base.
You will assist with the implementation and maintenance of our company’s hardware and software needs, providing support in our office in Santa Monica, California and to our remote employees.
What will you do?
- Provide technical support for break fix incidents in a Windows / Apple environment when standard procedures have failed to resolve the issue
- Research, resolve, and respond to questions received via tickets, emails, and slack in a timely manner, in accordance with standards.
- Escalate problems to appropriate individual/group based on established guidelines and procedures
- Participate in onboarding/offboarding of users
- Maintenance and inventory of the current fleet of laptops
- Routinely update our Knowledge Base
- Troubleshooting on office hardware ( Zoom Rooms, printers, wifi, etc.)
- Conference room setups
What do you need?
- To be customer service driven and excel at providing the best possible user support experience
- 1-2 years experience in a desktop or tech support role
- Knowledge of current Windows and Apple Operating Systems
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good verbal and written communications
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt existing knowledge, and be resourceful when difficult issues arise
- Experience with Google Workspace, Jamf and Mobile Device Management solutions
