IT Support Engineer – Media, Entertainment
(Several Shifts available – Los Angeles, Burbank Area)
Seeking a diversified candidate to join a team in supporting a fast paced Media/Entertainment company. You will wear multiple hats to troubleshoot and support a diverse range of creative media systems.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues on various macOS, Mac OS X and Windows platforms
- Support desktop computers, laptops, printers, and various office peripherals
- Install and configure various software programs, including Adobe Creative Cloud suite, design plug-ins, and Microsoft Office.
- Provide support to engineers to troubleshoot servers, switches, and the internet.
- Provide support on Adobe Premiere and Avid Media Composer systems.
- Assist Video Engineer with input/output testing, A/V equipment, and cabling issues as needed.
- Support storage and security protocols across the network.
Requirements:
- Strong experience supporting Apple, Mac and iOS software, with an intricate knowledge of the OS X platform.
- Experience with Adobe platforms such as After Effects, Premiere, and Photoshop.
- Experience or familiarity with render farms and plug-ins is a plus.
- Solid knowledge of Windows desktop and server environments.
- Motivated to learn and understand various systems.
- Experience supporting and administering database platforms.
- Understanding of various types of audio and video equipment.
