Import Customer Service Representative We offer great benefits Health, dental, Vision and 401K Job Description: Receive daily overnight packages, the input of received documents, and checks into the company system. Send Arrival Notices and any other documentation when requested by customers upon verification that they are the consignee and/or notify party on the Bill of Lading. Send Release Orders to warehouses when all payments and required documents have been received. Advise respective Import Account Coordinator of documentation and payments received for all co-loaded shipments. Advise respective Import Account Coordinator of payments received for cargo that shows as not available at the time payment is received. Advise Import Account Coordinator of any discrepancies found regarding a particular shipment. Return any phone calls, within the same day, regarding import shipments. Maintain of assigned port/terminal inventory. Assist other ICSS with their duties or upon their absence. Other Duties and Responsibilities Release of cargo Verify import accounts payable invoices for payment. Assistance in managing CFS accounts; Primary Freight /Food for The Poor/Tosaf Referring cargo to General Order (G.O.) Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in the import transportation field. Well-versed with Microsoft Office applications. Attention to detail and adaptability to a changing environment. Excellent verbal and written skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) Highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment High School diploma or equivalent.
