Job Description PPE Unite, operated by Logisticom, is a community-based health organization making a difference in thousands of workplaces in the California region by providing Personal Protective Equipment, small business resources, and education to at-risk and under-resourced communities. PPE Unite’s in-community work brings the resources and supplies to over 60,000 businesses in our region by supplying over 40 Million Personal Protective Equipment. Our goal is to supplement the significant workplace and health safety expenses for businesses, helping them survive, thrive, and maintain safe workplaces on the road to economic recovery. We are seeking Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) as well as Medical Assistant Support Staff (Non-Certified) through our Covid-19 workplace testing program. This may be a permanent or contractor position. We are interested in customer service oriented individuals who are people friendly, able to follow directions from Supervisors and Lead teams. Job Duties include: Collect Covid-19 specimens from patients Check the completeness and accuracy of patients’ personal and insurance data Assemble Covid-19 testing kits Enter patient data into laboratory information systems, following all HIPPA and Privacy regulations Timely transfer of samples from field to lab Maintain a clean and professional work area Perform all job duties in a manner consistent with laboratory, CLIA, and local CDC regulations Ensure safety and security in the environment in all aspects of the daily activities and any potential hazards are addressed and corrected immediately Minimum education: High School Basic computer skills: data entry, excel, etc. Good communication skills and people skills.
