Health Program Analyst II- Pharmacy Partnership Community Support

Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for a Health Program Analyst II
– Pharmacy Partnership Community Support.

The HPA II will coordinate COVID vaccination planning meetings with pharmacies, cities, schools, and other community partners.

The candidate will also provide technical assistance and share resources with pharmacies, cities, schools, and other partners and vaccination providers as needed.

The position will start immediately upon acceptance and employment clearance and is initially funded through 2/22/2022 with potential renewal.

Pay Rate-

$48.90/hr working 40 hours a week

Shifts: Combination of Onsite and Telework

M-F, 40 hours a week.

Some overtime expected and occasional weekend work if needed.

Job Duties

· Coordinate COVID vaccination planning meetings with pharmacies, cities, schools, and other community partners.

· Develop vaccination site schedules and assignments.

· Provide technical assistance and share resources with pharmacies, cities, schools, and other partners and vaccination providers as needed.

· Participate in piloting or testing alternative models for vaccination including the co-administration of influenza and other vaccines.

Document and provide findings, observations, recommendations, and performance data to evaluators.

· Participate in meetings with departmental, public, private, community-based, faith-based and non-governmental organizations to develop plans for anchoring vaccination in hard-hit communities with needed social services as part of whole person recovery.

· Assist with coordinating requests for LACDPH staff and Medical Reserve Corps volunteers, and processing other resource needs.

· Participate in onsite fieldwork activities as needed.

Work collaboratively among internal team

for inquiries and partnerships.

Minimum Qualifications:

· A Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in the field of public health, the behavioral sciences, or social sciences -AND
– relevant work experience totaling at least five years;

· A minimum of three years of experience collaborating with a multidisciplinary group of stakeholders (e.g., residents, community
– based organizations, faith-based organizations, health care providers, county department staff, etc.) and diverse communities and populations to facilitate complex community and systems change initiatives;

· A valid California driver’s license, proof of vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions.

· Windows-based laptop or desktop device with a speaker and microphone and reliable Wi-Fi/internet access.

Desirable Qualifications:

· Excellent oral, written and listening communication skills;

· Computer literate and skilled in the use of MS Windows-based programs, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);

· Excellent problem-solving skills, including conflict resolution and team management, interpersonal communication, planning, and organizational skills;

· Experience managing multiple project demands and deadlines;

· Ability to work in a professional manner, with courtesy and tact, and work collaboratively with a wide range of disciplines, community members and county departments;

· Local references that demonstrate candidate has lived experience, or experience living or working in the new TPI communities and has positive working relationships with diverse community stakeholders to promote peace and collaboration.

· Willing to work occasional evenings and weekends and travel throughout the County.
