What We Are Looking for in the Ideal Candidate
We are seeking an experienced General Office Sales Support-Data Entry specialistfor our Chatsworth location. The ideal candidate will be computer and excel savvy and a fast typist with a keen eye for detailed research.Understanding data confidentiality principles is compulsory. The sales and customer service teams will rely on you for having accurate and updated data that can beeasily accessible through a digital database or excelas needed
What Will You Be Doing While in The Receptionist Role:

Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders or any other like method.

Type in data provided directly from customers

Create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes

Verify and research data by comparing it to source documents

Update existing data

Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested

Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation

Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost
- Perform clerical duties, customer service, maintain files, and organize documents as needed
- Track/monitor onsite paperwork to ensure on-time production is met and the computer is properly updated
- Reporting on activities and obstacles to upper management
- Other duties as deemed necessary
Requirements and Skills Needed for Success:
- 3+ years of continuous experience in data entry
- Exceptional attention to detail while producing error-free work product
- Able to effectively communicate with all levels of employees, management
- Proven experience as a data entry clerk
- Fast typing skills (35wpm+); Knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferred
- Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.)
- Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral device
- Basic understanding of database research
- Knows how to run google searches and queries
- Great organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities
- A problem-solver- and critical thinker skills to meet deadlines
- Ability to work autonomously without supervision
- Ability to multi-task
- Have excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Advanced education is preferred
