Responsible for all branch operational functions for branches within the largest markets and/or branches with highly complex business mixes. Assists the Market Manager with communicating, implementing, monitoring and enforcing firm operational policy and procedures and ensures adherence to these policies and procedures. Recruits, selects, trains, and manages all operational associates for the market. Serves as the liaison for Operational Support Departments (ACATs, Credit, Tax Reporting, Middle Office, etc.), Home Office, Regional initiated operational projects and other branch staff. Assists in resolving complex client inquiries.
Locations include, but are not limited to: Los Angeles, San Luis Obispo, Westlake Village, Pasadena, and Woodland Hills. Other locations in Southern California will be considered.
As an Employee Manager, you are expected to achieve success by leading yourself, your team, and the business. Specifically, you will:
- Lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your employees feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them.
- Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented employees, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing employees, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of financial services operations experience
- Successfully completed FINRA Series 7, 9/10 and 63 exams or 7, 9/10 and 66 exams to qualify for immediate registration (or FINRA recognized equivalents)

Job Expectations
- Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. In addition state registration, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards. Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA review process at the time of offer acceptance.
- Registration for FINRA Series 66 or 65 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted
- For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite may also be required
- Registration for FINRA Series 99 must be completed within 120 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
