– Smithfield, NC Our Team Needs You Immediate openings to work with individuals with disabilities and truly make a difference in their lives.

We are actively seeking Caregivers and Habilitation Technicians to provide Community Living Services, Supported Employment Services, Day Program Services, Supported Living Services, and/or Alternate Family Living Services.

Part-Time and Full-Time hours are available.

Passion and experience working with individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) is preferred Ability to achieve competency in required knowledge, skills, and abilities Ability to work independently in the community and/or the clients home Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary, based on individual client needs Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old High School Diploma or equivalent Valid drivers license, current automotive insurance, and reliable transportation Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary (depending on the case) Lifting may be required depending on individual client needs Job Description & Responsibilities: Promote client outcomes in behavioral, social, and vocational realms Assist client participation in leisure/recreational activities Maintain a schedule of services/activities in a treatment plan Monitor and report on status of health and safety objectives Provide respite and companionship to offer relief to family or primary caregiver Complete documentation of activities and significant events Submit documentation and payroll data according to scheduled deadlines Complete initial and ongoing training and staff development activities At Abound Health (formerly A Small Miracle) we are proud to specialize in helping individuals with I/DD reach their fullest potential.
