For this Deskside Support role, we need a candidate with strong customer service skills to represent CompuCom in a professional and businesslike manner. Position will be responsible for hardware repair, troubleshooting of hardware and software images, IMAC tasks, etc. Overview Interacts with customers, responding to routine technical questions and requests for information Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals Documents, maintains, upgrades, or replaces hardware and software systems Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security, and systems groups Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed Network connection issues, track network connections back to network switches Escalates problems and issues to a higher level of support if unable to resolve Qualifications 2+ years of related experience, or AA degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience A+ certification a plus Solid experience and understanding of IT services and products Ability to transform technical IT language into terms everyone understands Relatable with customers and impeccable with follow-through Not intimidated by problems you ve never seen before – confidence is key!
