Customer Service Specialist

Adecco is currently assisting one of our clients in the Burbank/ Hollywood Hills area looking for an onsite Customer Service Specialist. This is a long-term role in the mortuary industry that can become permanent for the right candidate. This particular client is requiring that all new hires show proof of vaccination. However, accommodations will be made for those with disabilities or religious reasons who cannot obtain a vaccine. Qualified candidates please apply!
Responsibilities for this experienced Customer Service Specialist position include, but are not limited to:

  • Performs a broad variety of customer service functions, such as answering phones, responding to emails, data entry, and proofreading
  • Assists client families and ensures they reviews and approves final designs.
  • Answers questions and solves problems for client families, team members and supporting departments.
  • Keeps the supervisor informed of area activities and of any significant problems or concerns.
  • Works in a busy environment that often involves frequent interruptions and/or distractions that require multi-tasking and meeting strict deadlines.
  • Understands and respects the nature of our business.
  • Attends off-site or virtual meetings.

    • To be considered for this experienced Customer Service Specialist position, you should:

  • Ability to work both independently and efficiently in-office and remotely as well as part of a team.
  • Must type at least 45 wpm.
  • Proficient in specialized systems such as the MA System and HMIS.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Suite; Word, Excel, other programs.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to work overtime.
  • MUST HAVE at least 5 years of good customer service experience working in an office setting.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to cross train other employees.
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred.
