Customer Service Specialist

Our client is an established insurance company that specializes in auto and personal insurance. We are searching for a professional and diligent Customer Service Specialist to join our client’s main operation in the city of Chatsworth CA.

This is a traditional live-chat position. Essentially, you will be responsible for taking calls, and helping and processing requests to be set up with auto insurance. Once finished, you send their number on over to operations and sales so it gets processed. You may also help out the insurance department in taking claims and answering any questions that call in.

This is full time, temp to hire position. First shift, from 7:30 am to 4 pm. Monday to Friday.

Our client is good at keeping people they like. If you do well, there is a possibility of growth.

Job Requirements:

This is what we are looking for in candidates:

  • Preferably, you have worked in Customer Service, a Call Center or similar type of work environment.
  • You are good with MS Office products like Word and Excel
  • You talk really well on the phone
  • You know how to take control of a conversation.
  • You can act independently, with minimal supervision
  • As a condition of employment, you may be asked to take and pass a background check and/or drug test.
