Organization Overview:JJS is a family owned and operated transportation and distribution company with operations in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania and California.Position Responsibilities:The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing timely and accurate information for all customer requests as well as multiple administrative functions and reports. Responsibilities include but are not limited to…Handle all Customer Service phone calls through an automated phone system and provide follow up with customers as necessary.Perform all administrative duties as assigned by the terminal manager.Communicate any problems to the terminal manager in a timely manner.Contact customers to schedule delivery times and for the collection of freight charges.Monitor agent delivery status and report weekly any shipment delays.Additional duties may be assigned at any time.Experience and qualifications:Customer service experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.Experience with Microsoft Office programs and ability to be trained on other computer applications.Ability to effectively communicate, manage time efficiently and work independently and as a part of a team.Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.Location: Los Angeles, CAEmployment Type: Full-TimeReports to: Terminal Manager
