Customer Service Representative

JOB DESCRIPTION: * Daily outbound & inbound calls to & from our clients.* Respond to customer inquiries & requests via telephone, email & chat in a timely fashion.* Document all inquiries, requests, resolutions and follow-up tasks in our CRM system.* Investigating client matters by reviewing case files in our CRM & extensive interaction with our various employees (i.e., Case Managers, Enrolled Agents, Tax Preparers & more).* Collecting client information &/or documents on an as-needed basis.* Help Marketing with our client review process.* Create all billable analysis of work conducted on a case on an as-needed basis.* Work closely with management & other department team members on escalated matters.* Help Accounting reply to chargebacks.* Heavy focus on client retention.* Other work as-needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * Minimum 2 years of customer service experience is required (in an office environment, not retail)* Previous experience as a customer service lead or manager a plus.* Previous tax case manager experience a plus.* Previous tax industry experience highly preferred.* Previous experience using a CRM system is highly preferred (i.e., Salesforce, Logics, MS Dynamics, ZenDesk, NetSuite, etc)* Experience working with inbound/outbound call centers.* Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.* Work with a sense of urgency & accountability.* Advanced level of phone skills (i.e., well spoken, active listener, empathetic, proper grammar & vocabulary)* Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel as well as PC &/or Mac.
