Customer Service & E-Commerce Specialist

Jungle Boys Clothing is looking for a confident and resourceful Customer Service and E-Commerce Specialist to join our team.

About the Role: The Customer Service and E-Commerce Specialist is responsible for strengthening our e-commerce presence and building brand loyalty through exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities will include the processing of online orders, investigating and responding to customer inquiries, managing returns and exchanges and leading inventory management efforts, as well as assisting with various administrative tasks.

A successful Customer Service and E-Commerce Specialist will support the daily operations of our e-commerce fulfillment warehouse and team while independently managing their own tasks.

They will be highly organized, responsible and professional, with a thorough understanding of the e-commerce and retail environment.

This position requires high attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.

The person in this role will work roughly 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Essential Tasks & Responsibilities: * Manage high volume of communications with customers, responding to all inquiries in a timely and professional manner * Investigate and resolve customer issues and complaints, following through until a resolution has been reached * Effectively communicate company policies, procedures and product information to customers * Lead the daily order processing flow, participating in fraud prevention efforts to release or cancel questionable transactions * Prepare orders for shipment in compliance with international and domestic guidelines * Process returns and exchange requests, address ?problem orders?

as they arise and communicate potential shipping delays or issues to customers * Assist with the updating, auditing and troubleshooting of various e-commerce marketplaces (Shopify, Google, Facebook, etc.) * Oversee inventory control efforts, coordinating regular cycle counts and reporting discrepancies to management * Keep office and warehouse supplies stocked at all times, and stay on top of supply ordering schedules As a member of the e-commerce team, the person in this position must be comfortable both delegating and assisting with warehouse duties, including processing incoming shipments, constructing storage systems and performing quality assurance checks, in addition to the pulling, packing and transporting of wholesale orders and inventory transfers.

Please note: this role will require the ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift and carry up to 35 pounds, and work alone when needed.
