Customer Service Dispatcher- Intermodal

Job Description American Marine Express, a proven leader in the Intermodal Transportation and Equipment Maintenance industry and is currently looking for a top notch experienced Customer Service/Dispatcher .

Intermodal experience is not necessary, however, it is preferred.

The candidate will work with a seasoned operations team overseeing a truck fleet of owner-operators and company drivers.

Job Description : Customer Service/Dispatcher candidates applying for this job MUST have extensive logistics experience, intermodal experience preferred.

The Customer Service/Dispatcher trainee will be responsible for learning and coordinating operational functions and activities.

Specific key responsibilities include scheduling, dispatch, considerable data entry, and customer service.

There will also be an emphasis placed on understanding all aspects of our terminal operations with the ability to move forward in the organization with increased responsibilities.

Job Requirements : The position requires hands-on participation and daily interactions within all levels of the company.

Specific responsibilities include the following: Operational functions including Scheduling, Dispatch, and Customer Service.

Working with Safety Department to ensure all FMCSA requirements are met.

Working with the management team and accounting departments.

Continually striving to reduce operating expenses and meet or exceed our customers expectations.

Candidates must be proficient on a pc, quick efficient data entry, and possess the ability to multi-task.
