What You Will Be Doing
Communicate and interact with students, faculty, and administrative staff to problem solve and find solutions.
Log Client interactions.-Ticket system experience (Tier 1) Follow up with customers to confirm resolution of issues.
Other Responsibilities Include
Ticket system experience (Tier 1) Creates, updates, prioritizes, and tracks customer problems.
Installs, configures, and supports IT approved software.
Audiovisual set ups, and technology training to faculty, students, and staff.
Coordinates audiovisual equipment in classrooms Assists with the setup and operation of computers with video projection and recording equipment.
Addressing and solving questions via telephone, e-mail, ticket system, and face-to-face interaction.
Maintains applications and peripheral equipment throughout the school.
Troubleshoots remote technologies such as Zoom.
Assists in operating system and application patching.
Ensures computer labs are well-maintained.
What You Need for this Position
Associates degree and at least 1 year of relevant technical work experience in a Customer Care/Help Desk role OR without the degree will require at least 2+ years experience.
Expertise in:
Microsoft Windows
Computer repair and
Audiovisual (AV) systems
Personable and exceptional customer service and problem resolutions skills Very occasional special project work and willingness to travel locally to safe off campus sites for system installs, maintenance and troubleshooting.
