PURPOSE

If you enjoy speaking with people and can turn a conversation with a prospective customer into revenue for the company, we might have the perfect job for you.

As a telephone sales representative, you will be calling potential customers who have indicated that they are interested in the Company’s products and services.

These customer leads have opted in to learning more about their coverage benefits for diabetic management supplies.

A telephone sales representative must be passionate about what our company has to offer and truly believe in the vision we sell.

This excitement must come through on every call to guarantee that customers enjoy speaking to you and want to learn more about the company and brand.

DUTIES

The duties of this position are those described below.

Essential Duties (These duties directly and substantially serve to achieve the purpose of the position)

? Be the first point of contact for all outbound and inbound sales enquiries related to our branded life insurance products.

? Provide accurate information on products that are clear, fair and not misleading.

? Advise prospective and current customers by answering questions and addressing concerns about coverage benefits or product usage.

? Encourage potential customers to buy services and products by using a prepared script to reference important parts of what the company offers.

? Go off-script when necessary to build a relationship with customers or answer any questions they have not addressed in the script.

? Update the system/tracker with updates on calls, status on lead, follow-up/action item, and any relevant information that provides insight to sales, marketing, and customer service.

? Perform 80+ outbound calls/day based on the opt-in list of potential customers and market the benefits of continuous glucose monitors and how the patient can qualify for the product, effectively converting these leads to sales for the company.

? Meet and exceed individual targets across sales and quality assurance.

? Follow organization standards to maintain quality service and guarantee customers receive exceptional service.

? Boost morale in the office by encouraging other representatives and adopting a team mentality.

? Report any necessary changes or improvement opportunities that will boost productivity and efficiency and increase the customer experience.

? Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

? High School Diploma or GED

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

? Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience

? Prior telephone sales experience

? Proven sales, demonstrated track record of performance

? Healthcare or pharmaceutical experience, preferred

? Professional knowledge and skill as sales representative

? Persuasive and goal-oriented, and possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor

? Tenacity to handle rejection and continue on with a positive attitude when reaching next potential client

? Possess entrepreneurship to operate in a start
– up environment; Self-motivated, self-starter, driven individual with the operational agility and the hunger necessary to close deals independently

? Excellent time management, communication, interpersonal, and prioritization skills

? Ability to work independently with minimal guidance, as well as collaboratively in a team

? Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and to compute rate, ratio, and percent)

? Ability working in an unstructured and ever-changing environment

? Ability to investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions

? Ability to provide technical advice, guidance, and support

? Ability to work and interact with patient care professionals as part of an interdisciplinary team

? Ability to type with minimal errors

? Ability to read, comprehend, analyze, and interpret data

? Ability to apply common sense understanding and principles of logical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems and to deal with abstract and concrete variables

? Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

? Able to pass a background check and drug screening

PC, Calculator, Office Copying, FAX and Scanning Machine

COMPUTER SKILLS AND APPLICATIONS

Good proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) familiarity with PowerPoint, Outlook; ability to use the Internet for research and information in support of job duties.
