The Opportunity The Business Support Manager is responsible for creating executive-level presentations, leading ad hoc projects, coordinating information across multiple functions, aggregating Business Unit or Enterprise Function metrics, and providing support for meeting routines.

This role will assist the Credit Card business unit Chief of Staff.

The Work Itself Working primarily in support of the head of the division/department, partners with business leaders to create executive (including C-Level) PowerPoint presentations and other documents.

Partner closely with the Finance team to create monthly reporting packages.

Extract and aggregate performance metrics to feed reporting scorecards and presentations, with eye towards automating where possible.

Coordinate agendas and preparation of materials for routine business reviews.

Partner with functional groups across Ally (Finance, Risk, Compliance, IT, Audit, Marketing, Corporate Workplace, Internal/External Communications, Corporate Strategy, Legal, Treasury, HR, other).

Partner with governance/business support leaders within individual business lines.

Proactively identify linkages and synergies across the division/department.

Set standards/templates for internal presentations and reporting, and educate staff (as needed).

Proofread and edit material to ensure quality and accuracy.

Provide Agile program management support across the enterprise portfolio of work.

Aid in the agenda development and execution of leadership meeting routines, including off-sites.

Play a leadership role on ad hoc/topical items that come up throughout the normal course of business (e.g., operational, regulatory, financial, etc.).

Manage ad hoc projects.

Conduct ad hoc analyses.

The Skills You Bring Extensive experience creating executive presentation decks.

Expert level skills in PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

Ability to navigate and partner with key constituents across Ally and Ally Lending.

Creative thinker with the ability to generate new ideas and approaches.

Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality.

Strong executive presence.

Editing and proofreading skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to meet tight deadlines in a compressed timeline.

Ability to prioritize and manage timelines that may change frequently.
