Responsible for providing administrative and functional support to assigned Surety Underwriting Team by helping to manage new account submissions and renewals. Specific tasks include (but not are not limited to); enter Financial Statements and Work on Hand (WIP schedules) in Surety system, maintain account file documentation to ensure compliance with corporate and business unit guidelines, communicate with agents and brokers to obtain necessary underwriting documents, resolve discrepancies (billing or other) and respond to requests for information, maintain electronic data records to ensure accuracy and compliance with state and other filings (ie Surety Rates, Credit Ratings), perform miscellaneous tasks as required by underwriting team.
