We’re looking for Crew Foremen (based out of Chamblee, GA) to join our team and help connect America.What you’ll do: Install underground telecommunications cabling Direct, coordinate, train, inspect, and monitor crew members in the correct placement/repair of underground telecommunications cable, ensuring results are according to contract and process specifications Ensure employees meet all safety, quality, and production goals according to rules, regulations, and standards set by company Drives and/or operate diesel or gasoline powered equipment to/from/on jobsite.
Locate underground cable.
Flagging, property or worksite restoration, and performs general construction work under direction of Supervisor.
Performs general construction work (to include physical labor i.e.
using hand tools, lifting materials on average up to 50 lbs, etc.) Property or worksite restoration Inspect trucks/equipment for defects Read Prints Maintain daily production sheets and other reporting Maintain OSHA logs and other reporting.
Resolve complaints Performs other duties as necessary Must be able to demonstrate ability to maintain positive working relationships both internally and externally QualificationsWho we are looking for: You are at least 18 years old You are authorized to work in the United States for this company You have prior experience within the Telecommunications or Utility Construction/Maintenance industry (3 years preferred) You have valid driver’s license (CDL preferred) You have basic knowledge of and ability to operate various types of utility trucks and equipment in a safe manner You have basic knowledge of and ability to use hand tools and equipment in a safe manner You may have the ability to read prints and interpret utility maps to identify the type and size of underground utilities You are able to communicate effectively with customers, employees, etc.
