As a sewing machine operator you would have the opportunity to sew custom designs and fulfill garment orders for a variety of vendors. The ideal candidate will have experience with an array of fabrics.
Responsibilities:
- Cut fabrics.
- Load materials into production equipment.
- Sewing various fabrics and materials using industrial sewing machines.
- Communicate effectively within a team.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 yrs of proven experience as a sewing machine operator.
- Ability to read patterns and instruction sheets.
- Strong knowledge of hand sewing techniques.
- Knowledge of single need, 6 thread flat seamers, cover stitch, overlook, bar tack, programmable automatic machines, and button hole machines
- Understanding of production procedures
