We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with operations, planning, and construction experience within the Healthcare sector.Scope:The role will be leading operational projects, in an active Hospital or Medical Office Building, from the initial planning phase through the final close out post move-in. Programming / documentation of space requirements and equipment list development is often the first stage. Engaging a design team and efficiently managing the process is a paramount part of this role. Working with the client to develop a baseline budget to design to and ensuring both the design team and users are working towards the budget is key. Engaging with the client s operations team leads as part of design is a must to ensure all operational aspects are addressed within the design. The candidate will often engage a construction management at risk or general contracting firm through an RFP process and manage this team through closeout. Coordination with the client s internal teams to appropriately plan, manage change control, and execute the project. This role may require coordinating support from another STV team member providing FF&E and Relocation management. Managing all close-out documentation in accordance with the client s record program.Responsibilities:Coordination of Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) process and executionUnderstanding of Contractor Orientation process and executionRunning weekly project meetings and distributing minutesEngage client technical and compliance groups to assure all procedures are followedCoordinate bid & award and or procurement of construction services for office/lab TI, modular furniture, IT, telephone, security, audio / visual equipment planningGenerating and tracking project schedules and budgetsOverseeing construction and renovations of Surgical and Clinical spaces.On-Site coordination of work in conjunction with contractor, design team and client staffDaily client end user interaction and communicationPerform daily on-site inspection of the work area for safety and complianceReviews / approval of monthly invoices for specialty vendorsMonitors & provides recommendations to the client w/respect to change ordersOther project-specific tasks, as requiredRequired Skills:Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills, extreme attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple tasks4-year degree in building construction, engineering, architecture or a related fieldMS Windows, Office and Project experience required; AutoCAD, BIM, Revit, eBuilder, MS Project, Primavera experience a plusLEED, CCM, CHC or PMP certification a plusFGI or AIA healthcare guidelines familiarity.Required Experience:15+ years of project management experience, in Healthcare or similar fieldsPE or RA preferred, but not requiredManagement of projects in an 24/7 operationOccupied space renovations including critical utilities shutdownCoordination of building systems commissioning and validationSurgical equipment coordination, installation and relocationPharmacy operations, material flows, PPE requirements, general knowledge of acceptable conditions
