Regional Construction Broking Leader – West

The Regional Construction Broking Leader isresponsible for all Construction Casualty placement team and activities within WTW West Region.They set the strategic direction for broking, build and maintain strong relationships withInsurance company underwriters and leaders, oversee and guide broking/placement colleagues andcollaborate with a variety of other WTW associates. If you’re looking for the opportunity toutilize your placement expertise to lead and develop broking teams, enhance revenue, drive theP&L of the assigned office(s) and close pending business opportunities you should apply forthis position today.The RoleEmployment-based non-immigrant visasponsorship and/or assistance is not offered for this specific job opportunity.Responsible for all construction casualty placement teams and activities within WTW WestRegion.  In addition to having responsibility for casualty placements, the Broking Leaderwill also be required to coordinate the placements of other lines of coverage applicable to therespective client or project.  They set the strategic direction for broking, build andmaintain strong relationships with Insurance company underwriters and leaders, oversee andguide broking/placement colleagues and collaborate with a variety of other WTW associates.Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:Providing expert,in depth advice to clients resulting in overall clientsatisfactionDeveloping newpartner markets where needed locally and supporting nationally based relationships withcarriers and clientsStimulating revenuegrowth and meeting business objectives by placing new business, improving retention rates,increasing commission rates and utilizing groupresourcesOverseeing themarketing new business opportunities and securingcoverageSupervising thereview of renewal business for adequacy of coverage and competitiveratesNegotiating termsfor major accounts and providing expertise for difficult to placebusinessParticipating withthe North American Head of Construction Broking to establish overall placement strategy forthe West regionRecruiting,motivating, mentoring and managing colleagues and overseeing workflowdistributionEnsuring localsuccession planning is in placeCoordinating withRegional Construction Leader and Market Leaders to ensure alignment between placement andproduction strategiesTheRequirementsBachelor’s leveldegree; Insurance degree a plusInsurance BrokersLicense required.
