With operations felt worldwide, this organisation is focusing the search in Los Angeles where they see a lot of growth over the coming years, which is why this appointment of a Preconstruction Manager with expertise in the Education Sector is seen as a worthy investment.
The Role:
Preparing detailed conceptual cost estimates alongside the business development and project management teams for large scale projects valuing up to $200m.
Working closely with the project teams and design teams including: Project Engineers, Architects and Estimators and have excellent relationships with subcontractors in the area.
Preparing detailed estimates/schedules and updates throughout the preconstruction phase, giving recommendations on estimates and adequate cost saving analysis across projects.
Formulating adjustments between estimates and schedules throughout design phase to award of contract and then close liaison with operational teams mobilising the work on behalf of the client.
Working with existing customers in the region, as well developing new customers and strategic partnerships.
Instructing and formulating comprehensive bid packages, advising senior leadership on outcomes and necessary changes to ensure the best outcome.
Leading presentations in bids, including preparing information to owner and stakeholders where required.
Key Experience:
15+ years’ experience leading preconstruction phases across large scale ground up commercial work, specifically in the Education sector.
Experts in the Education sector will ensure a fast-tracked interview process and give applicants the upper hand when negotiating an attractive compensation package.
Ability to communicate effective both written and verbally.
