Join our team!SUMMARYThe Senior Project Manager is an experienced manager with vast contract and project management experience, as well as experience developing and building solar PV plants.

The Senior Project Manager plays an extensive role in the management of third-party project construction, to ensure the sites are built to Nexamp standards and in accordance with contract documents and drawings.

The Senior Project Manager will play a key role as the Company grows into new and developing markets.RESPONSIBILITIESPlan, budget, manage and complete turn-key PV projects of greater complexity and challenge; project portfolios, or strategic opportunities.Review, tracks, and communicates with EPC contractors to ensure all contract deliverables are met in a timely manner.Mentor and train new and current Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Construction Superintendents.Provides due diligence reviews of development and contract documents prior to construction to identify any risks or discrepancies with Nexamp standards.Reviews for accuracy and approves project invoices for all third-party EPC contracts.Take on and problems solve the most difficult projects.Manages construction risk across our portfolio by reviewing COIs, lien waivers, BOLs, warranty documentation, project reporting, etc.

and taking action as needed.Diligently monitors and manages contractor progress, deliverables, schedule and budget across a large portfolio of projects.Work with field personnel to ensure the quality of delivered systems and conformance to Nexamp standards.Minimizes Nexamp’s exposure and risk across project development and implementation.Provides a link between internal and external stakeholders and maintains open lines of communication between same.Maintains an awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application for client engagements.QUALIFICATIONS7-10+ years of construction management, solar industry experience with a successful track record in project management.Exceptional oral and written communication skills.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications plans.Working knowledge of various areas of construction (civil construction, electrical construction, utility construction).Knowledge of OSHA Safety standards; OSHA 30 is a minimum requirement.Maintains professional licenses in trade (i.E.

CSL, NABCEP PV, etc.).Understanding Nexamp quality control methods and procedures.Highly developed electrical and PV related troubleshooting skills and expertise.Strong administrative skills including the use of computers, Microsoft Office, data acquisition systems, SCADA, communications and remote computing.Extensive experience in commissioning PV systems and storage is a plus.Understanding of medium voltage systems and equipment a plus.Eye for detail and ability to communicate clearly.4-year college degree in a relevant discipline is required.Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Project, Procore and various other construction management tools.Valid and current Driver’s License.Willingness to travel at least 50% is required.If you don’t meet 100% of the above qualifications, but see yourself contributing, please submit an application.
