Operates machine to cut out parts of specified size and shape from materials Places tooling on set up properly to begin run Monitors equipment during operations to ensure tolerances are being maintained Performs daily maintenance duties such as cleaning machinery to remove particle dust, check operating parts for proper lubrication Sets up, operates, prepares and assists in make-ready or tend machines cuts Adjust machine controls to alter position, alignment, speed, or pressure Monitor product quality Maintain machine at expected housekeeping standards Follow all safety rules and procedures
Job Requirements:
• Basic computer skills for data entry
• Must be able to read, write and speak in English
• Highly organized, detail orientated and self-motivated individual (proactive attitude)
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment, learn quickly and follow established processes
• Good mathematical skills
– understand basic math, able to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, volume etc.
(add and subtract numbers, multiply and divide by 10’s and 100’s…)
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
