– 12 amPay: $16.00/hr $1.00 shift differentialKey Responsibilities:Lab Technicians will perform a minimum of one and up to three of the following functions:Washing/Cleaning LensesPicking LensesDe-blocking LensesBox makingBinning ordersLens MarkingEngraving LensesSurface/Finish blocking lensesTinting lensesSimple frame assemblyTracingCosmetic inspection of lensesSupervisory Responsibilities: NoneQUALIFICATIONSRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent is required for full time employment.No specific prior work experienceDesired QualificationsPrior experience in manufacturing or eye lab environment.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds (safety/weight belt provided, if requested).
