Job Description The Material Handler
– Forklift Mill position is responsible for supplying whitewood and unfinished doors to the pickers in order to continue the workflow process.
II.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Perform the necessary inspection of forklift and complete OSHA checklist
• Replenish the depleted shelves by pulling the overstock from the riser to the lower level of racking for easier consumption
• Once new materials have been received will inventory and put away into the designated locations.
• Moved bulk frames from the frame area to the designated floor space ensuing easier access for the pickers
• Responsible for the cleanup and recycling of all plastic and cardboard discarded after the shelving of stock
• Location and retrieval of missing or misplaced inventory
• Supply molder parts to frames for production.
• Continued efforts to keep area clean and free from debris
• Responsible for the replacement of propane tank on lift as needed.
• Consistently deliver the best in customer service.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Education: Up to 8 years of Education Experience: Prior work experience in color codes or JDE a plus but not required Skills: Must have good organizational skills with attention to detail Must be accurate and able to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to comprehend and follow instructions Ability to assess and prioritize workload IV.
