Our client is a major name in the manufacturing and distribution of lighting technology for a wide variety of industries, including everything from lighting ballrooms to lighting film sets. We are seeking diligent and professional Electromechanical Assemblers to join our client’s growing operation in the city of Van Nuys.
Under the direction of the Production Manager, you will be responsible for soldering wires and installing circuit boards to respective lights and dimming controls. You will read the blueprints/schematics, and assemble the item to client and company specifications.
Finally, when you finish, you will also be asked to test the item to make sure it works, and fix any discrepancies that arise.
Hours are as follows. You can freely choose between any one of these shifts.
- First Shift – 7:30 am to 4 pm
- Second Shift – 3 pm to 11:30 pm
Job Requirements:
This is what we are looking for in candidates:
- You have at least 6 months of recent working history (I.E Working, Volunteering or Attending School)
- You have valid documentation to prove your right to work in the USA
- You have a High School diploma (or equivalent)
- You have some hands on experience in Electro Mechanical Assembly, preferably with dimmers
- You are punctual, and results driven
- You are conscience of safety rules and regulations
- You have the ability to balance competing priorities
- As a condition of employment, you may be asked to take and pass a background check and drug test.
