Construction Project Supervisor

Mardyks & Co., Inc. are a group of custom home builders with operations on the west side of Los Angeles. We are a young company but are growing quickly, with our sights set on becoming one of the distinguished, high-end custom home builders in Los Angeles. Currently, we are looking to hire a project supervisor who is comfortable learning and using construction software and phone apps for correspondence to join and help grow our team.

REQUIREMENTS
•Minimum of 3 years experience in remodeling and new construction management experience.
•Must be proficient in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control and production of all phases of residential construction.
•A thorough knowledge of all construction trades.
•Strong communication, organizational and people skills.
•Must be able to multitask and prioritize.
•Must have reliable transportation and car insurance.
•Good with technology and cloud based software.

RESPONSIBILITIES
•Schedule, coordinate, and manage the daily construction activities for residential and remodeling projects.
•Consult with architect, engineer, builder, selections coordinator, trade partners, and clients on plan revisions and change orders.
•Communicate company’s quality and performance standards to each trade partner and supplier.
•Ensure that projects are built to requirements and specifications established by construction drawings, building codes, and client expectations.
•Create/maintain production schedules, critical paths for projects, and trade partner / subcontractor schedules to ensure timely project completion.
•Design and implement checklists for inspections, quality control, and standard operating procedures.
•Take photos, enter daily logs, update regular scheduling system.
•Assume overall responsibility for maintaining a clean, safe project site.
•Quality control; inspect project site daily.
•Communicate with clients on the job site. Answer questions in a professional manner and ensure that the work meets their expectations.
•Most work will take place on job site but will be expected to work remotely if needed.

COMPENSATION
•Full time salary position, starting at 50-60k per year (Salary based off experience)
•Flexible work hours, expect to work Monday-Friday and some Saturdays.
