CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT Commercial construction company with specialty in interiors has immediate opening for a Construction Superintendent.
We are seeking a dependable, self-motivated individual with at least 5 years of experience in Commercial interiors.
Previous experience in retail, office, and/or industrial settings is a plus.
Must have reliable means of transportation.
Job Summary The Construction Superintendent coordinates all site construction activities and supervises all field personnel as required to successfully complete projects on schedule and within budget.
Responsibilities Coordinates and supervises all construction activities Directs all field personnel to achieve completion of projects on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to all construction documents and specifications Reviews scope of work for contracts issued Maintains construction schedule and identifies/solves problems Orders materials and schedules inspections as necessary Maintains positive relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and other employees Prepares, schedules, and supervises completion of final punch list Promotes jobsite safety and encourages safe work practices Maintains an organized job siteKeeps daily job site log Must work closely with project manager to assure all change orders, RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings are kept up with and distributed in a timely manner Utilize all available resources in the most effective, efficient manner to complete its construction services contract as quickly as possible while also ensuring customer satisfaction Requirements Must have at least 5 years of experience in Commercial Interiors Reliable transportation Excellent communication skills Must be proficient in modern technology (computers, smart phones, etc.) Self-motivated Able to read construction drawings Required education: High school or equivalent Required experience: Construction: 5 years Job Type: Full-time
