The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating projects, scheduling, tracking the progress of projects and reporting their results. The Project Manager will be responsible for completing all necessary tasks as directed by the Construction Manager.ESSENTIAL DUTIES• Works as project lead with supervision from Construction Manager. Create schematic designs and establish schedules;• Draft plans, sections, elevations, detailing, and other plan set drawings;• Manage the renovation of affordable housing and/or adaptive reuse of commercial spaces, including planning, work scheduling, coordinating with on-site supervisors, work with procurement for materials, and other related functions;• Prepare scopes of work for project bids;• Work through solutions provided for design deficiencies, schedule concerns, and other project-specific issues;• Monitor for quality control of all work performed;• Responsible for closely monitoring each project he or she manages to ensure that projects remain on track, meet deadlines, stay under budget, and develop according to plan;• Responsible not only for identifying project objectives but ensuring that they’re met;• Provide accurate and timely status updates of work-in-progress to the Construction Manager;• Conduct site visits to supervise progress, measure existing conditions and create as-built drawings;• Work with finance, management, and field contractors to track construction costs from project start to finish, develop tools/reports/methods to help reduce costs, track expenses and minimize construction time.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture or related field;• Minimum 5 years construction project management experience;• Must have extensive knowledge of construction materials and project phasing;• Experience with Type 5 and Type 3 construction, 50-250 units per project on average;• Must be familiar with codes, plan check and permitting process.SKILLS & ABILITIES• Proficient in MS Office and Auto CAD, Revit or related software; ability to read and interpret Architectural drawings;• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; excellent follow through;• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment;• Ability to collaborate with others and utilize knowledge and resources to identify quality solutions;• Logical, analytical, and creative approach to problem solving;• Highly organized, resourceful, proactive, creative, detail-oriented, and a critical thinker;• Well-developed time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities;• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment;• Ability to present information in a concise and easily understood manner;• Passionate about our mission.BENEFITS:• Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Paid Sick Leave• Medical, Dental, Vision, Life/AD&D, Critical Illness Insurance• 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with company match• Training and Professional Development Program; Opportunity for growth• Tuition Reimbursement• Lunch provided weekly; Snacks provided daily• Great Culture!
