Division 7 is currently hiring for a Construction Laborer- Sheet Metal Installer to join our team in Los Angeles, CA!Division 7 is a fast-growing, successful family-owned and operated company that has a great opportunity for an experienced Construction Laborer. We specialize in roofing, sheet metal, siding and metal cladding. We are willing to train the right person if they are willing to learn and work hard!Principal Duties and Responsibilities:• Measure and mark dimensions and reference lines on metal sheets• Drill holes in metal for screws, bolts, and rivets• Fabricate or alter parts at construction sites• Maneuver large sheet metal parts to be installed, and anchor the parts• Install assemblies, such as flashing, coping, sill, siding, rain gutters, and down spouts, in supportive frameworks• Maneuver completed units into position for installation, and anchor the unitsQualifications:• Commercial construction experience• Carpenter helper experience• Experience with Roofing• Experience Architectural Sheet Metal• Read and interpret blueprints• Must have reliable transportation to report to job sites• Must have your own tools to perform the work of your trade• Experience with Standing Seam Roofs• Experience with Wall Cladding Systems• Experience in Sheet Metal Installation including Gutter, Downspouts, Coping, Counter Flashing, Sill and Head Metal Flashing, etc.• Must possess a valid California Driver’s License• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Adobe Acrobat, and Bluebeam• Knowledge of commercial construction methods, policies, and proceduresJob Type: Full-timePay: $17.00 – $24.00 per hourBenefits:• 401(k) matching• Paid time offSchedule:• 10 hour shift• 8 hour shiftCOVID-19 considerations:We have implemented new safety measures to ensure the safety of our employees and clients during the COVID-19 pandemic.Experience:• Sheet Metal: 2 years (Preferred)Work Location:• Multiple locationsWork Remotely:• No
