Metal Framing and Drywall Apprentice
Ferrante Koberling Construction, Inc. a boutique custom construction firm focused on high design projects in commercial and residential markets, is immediately seeking an experienced apprentice with 1 – 3 years minimum light commercial and tenant improvement construction supervision. The right candidate will have on-site project experience with a keen understanding of metal framing, hanging drywall and / or tapping. Other trades are acceptable if you have a strong willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Learn to metal frame, hang drywall and perform tapping.
- Learn to install interior doors.
- Learn to do light carpentry.
- Understand quality and quality control.
- Participate in new tasks and learn new skills.
- Assist with daily job site organization, cleaning, and safety to maintain a clean and project.
Skills, Experience And Education
- Professional appearance; Excellent communication skills; Strong knowledge of construction practices, means and methods.
- Must own and utilize basic tools; Must have valid driver’s license; and own a vehicle in good working condition (truck preferred but not required).
- No less than 1 – years-experience working for a General Contractor (provide references).
$18.00 – $22.00 per Hour
Medical and Dental offered after successful first 90-days, Paid vacation and sick leave.
