Our ability to design transformational places, plans and strategies is why Fast Company named us a World Changing Company and one of the most innovative design firms in the world.ABOUT THE ROLE You will be responsible for providing administrative support for construction services projects, processes, and teams at CannonDesign, with particular focus on Construction Administration, Construction Documents, and Project Coordination throughout the project life cycle, from project start-up to closeout.WHAT YOU WILL DO Set up new projects in Procore and enter all pertinent information, including uploading all drawings and specifications. Log and issue all Change Documents (Addenda, Supplemental Instructions, Proposal Requests, Bulletins, Construction Change Directives). Track financial information for these items in Procore as needed. Maintain up-to-date set of issued Construction Documents in Procore, including all issued Addenda, Clarifications, and Changes. Logs, tracks, and returns all Submittals and RFIs to CM/GC. Responsible for tracking down overdue items from project team members. Issue weekly reports to Project Team for tracking of Submittals and RFIs. Attend internal and external CA Phase Kick-off meetings. Attend regular CAC meetings and Project OAC Meetings as needed. Provide support and assistance and coverage to the other CACs across the Firm as needed. Willingness and ability to handle projects outside of designated region (projects across the firm). May handle other responsibilities as needed. ABOUT YOUR QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Associate Degree preferred. 4 years of related experience required. A/E project and construction administration and/or construction documents experience strongly preferred. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Technical knowledge, coordination skills and the ability to build a rapport with others is essential. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Bluebeam required. Knowledge of Procure, Revit and Document Control Software is preferred. As a Federal Contractor, CannonDesign is required to comply with President Biden’s Executive Order 14042.
