About the Superintendent Position: We are seeking an experienced construction professional with high-end restaurant experience to join our team.
This superintendent position will work in our California office with job site locations varying based upon individual projects.
Superintendents at PCG are responsible for all onsite planning, supervision, and coordination, while effectively controlling all aspects of building construction from commencement to completion of the project.
Responsibilities will include creating project schedules, overseeing, and managing multiple subcontractors.
Identify and resolve field issues preventing schedule delays or negative cost impacts.
Properly coordinating with subcontractors and owner vendors to ensure completion of the project is on time and under budget.
Ensure that completed work complies with contract documents and quality standards.
Review weekly and daily records, safety reports, schedule updates, and process Requests for Information.
Conduct and participate on-site meetings and inspections.

Qualifications and Skills
Superintendent Requirements: Minimum of 5 years experience in commercial construction as a Construction Superintendent.
Experience with a variety of construction methods is a plus.
Prior experience with high-end restaurant, healthcare, tenant improvement, and industrial facilities preferred.
Proven track record of completing projects on time and within budget.
Ability to develop and update project schedules.
Thorough understanding of OSHA safety requirements and construction codes.
OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR certifications preferred.
Working knowledge of all sub-trades.
Ability to read and understand blueprints/drawings and relevant contract documents.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
Detail-oriented and dependable.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in the use of a personal computer and software programs such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and Microsoft Project is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00
– $125,000.00 per year
