Our company has continued to grow in the last 12 months and we’re looking for more great people to join our team.We are looking for candidates who are highly motivated and wish to be on a team with hard-working, dedicated individuals who provide the highest quality building and contracting services in the Los Angeles Area.TITLE: Finish CarpenterREPORTS TO: Project Manager, Foreman, and PresidentGENERAL DESCRIPTION: Finish Carpenters are the project craftsmen for all of our projects.

Applicants should have experience in custom residential remodeling projects and fine finish and trim.

Must be familiar with typical construction materials.

Craftsmen also will have experience with the installation of appliances, doors, and windows, cabinetry, and floors, and they will understand the critical path of construction.Must be extremely reliable, know to organize and maintain their work area in a safe, orderly manner, and take responsibility to ensure that all projects are produced to the highest standard of quality craftsmanship, properly constructed per project documents, and completed within time allotments.

Finish Carpenters should also be able to work with project material suppliers, tradesmen, project managers, and other craftsmen.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Understands the carpentry scope of each project.
· Works directly with the Superintendent and Foreman and reviews scope, timelines, and schedules prior to the start of the job.
· Studies specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required.
· Performs construction tasks, during the finish stage, using materials such as wood, steel, metal, concrete, plastics, and composites of multiple materials.
· Conducts fitting and installation of doors, door hardware, crown molding, interior, and exterior trim.
· Builds or repairs cabinets, doors, floors, or other wooden fixtures used in buildings, using woodworking machines, hand tools, or power tools.
· Performs all finish carpentry tasks in a safe and fast-paced manner to the high standards set by Cinergy Construction, in order to meet budget goals.
· Works on various projects at different job sites throughout the month.
· Completes work orders, timesheets, and administrative paperwork as required by the Foreman/Superintendent.
· Maintains a neat and organized work area, both on the job sites and in the company warehouse.SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
· MUST have a minimum 5 years of progressive experience as a finish carpenter in construction.
· MUST own complete set of basic carpenter tools.
· Understands standard construction and safety practices.
· Excellent communication skills and able to work well with others effectively in all phases of construction.
· Valid California State driver’s license and reliable transportation.
· Can pass a criminal background check.
· Possesses verifiable references.
· Documentation of legal eligibility to work in the USA.
· Must be able to speak and write in English fluently; Spanish speaking is a plus.
· Always dresses appropriately, is well-groomed, and maintains a professional appearance.PLUS
· Is a happy, motivated person with a great attitude!
· Knowledge of Buildertrend, Microsoft Office Suite, Mac OS, G-Suite & Google applications forbusiness, web-based applications.
