The team is looking to bring on a Project Manager with Office TI and various commercial construction experience. The client prioritizes teamwork and a cohesive workplace. Description

  • Establishing and building relationships with clients/owners, owner’s reps, architects and subcontractors, resulting in repeat business and recommendations
  • Stepping up to conflicts and working to agreement equitably
  • Managing client expectations
  • Managing the financial aspects of the project
  • Project bidding and buyout, start up, job site management and efficient closeout
  • Managing subcontractor procurement, submittals, RFIs and change orders
  • Minimizing risk
  • Implementing and managing QA/QC procedures
  • Working collaboratively with the project superintendent for a quality pre-con and construction: ensuring the schedule is in place, being followed, and being updated with a level of detail sufficient for a meaningful baseline
  • Executing regular reporting on impacts to the baseline schedule
  • Working collaboratively and proactively with the project superintendent: ensuring project safety
  • Delegating appropriately and developing and teaching others to be effective
  • Project documentation
  • The project’s gross margin and profitability

Profile

  • Flexibility and effectively cope with change
  • 5 years of Project Management Experience
  • Clearly represent all information so that even bad news can be handled with expediency and transparency
  • Keep your composure under pressure and encourage collaboration in the face of conflict
  • Self-motivate to learn, investigate and understand
  • Ability to mentor and lead a team
