Assembler

Essential Functions of the Job: Follows all company and departmental safety rules including proper use of personal protective equipment Performs all required quality checks to assure products conform to company standards including completing final inspection per line Maintains 5s standards of housekeeping in work area Meets production requirements Assists in setup for production Communicates what tools are needed to continuously improve inefficiencies in various operations Assembles components and sub-assemblies into completed product Verifies dimensions and makes adjustments during the assembly process Performs testing of finished product by checking operational functions Disassembles, reworks and does touch up painting as required Maintains documentation as needed including updating of hour by hour boards Assists in training coworkers in proper work procedures and safety Performs other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA’s): Must be able to read blueprints and use measuring instruments Must be mechanically inclined and have good eye/hand coordination Knowledge of, and ability to use, both hand and power tools essential Ability to operate overhead crane necessary Knowledge of product’s operational functions necessary Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED certificate preferred or work experience in a related occupation Previous experience in a related manufacturing environment preferred Working Conditions: Must be able to work overtime, including weekends Must be physically capable of standing/working 8 hour shift(s) Must be able to lift, carry and/or move up to 40 pounds on a regular basis Must be able to work in non-climate controlled areas Must be able to wear required safety equipment Notes: The above information is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees within this classification.

Pay commensurate with experience but starts at no less than $16 per hour.

Assembly Schedule: 1st Shift (5:30am to 2:00pm) Monday
– Friday Schedule: 2nd Shift (2pm to 12:00am) Monday
