Job DescriptionThe position will perform a variety of administrative and clerical support duties by providing data entry, creating and maintaining various logs, files, and database maintenance for CalFresh Health Living department.Job Responsibilities1.
Performs data entry for all applicable Titles, Programs and Special Projects.2.
Types, modifies, and maintains tools, forms, and other documents utilized by Management Information Systems (MIS) section.3.
Maintains and files forms, documents, and records.4.
Creates tools, forms, and other documents related to MIS.5.
Communicates with appropriate staff (i.E., Health Educator, Program Coordinator) to ensure accurate and timely processing and issuance of required documentation6.
Reviews and analyzes MIS documentation for compliance with applicable Program rules, regulations, procedures, and contractual agreements including those mandated by local policy, County, State and Federal legislation.7.
Provides input and makes recommendations for internal policies, and procedures related to MIS.8.
Assists with preparation of local-level MIS reports, and queries, and distributing reports accordingly.9.
Conducts presentations, trainings, and technical assistance for program staff regarding completion of required MIS forms.10.
Manages multiple tasks and projects at one time, determine relative importance of each, set deadlines and complete tasks and projects accordingly.11.
Interprets rules and regulations relative to participant eligibility, provision of services, and MIS12.
Assembles and prepares material for processing and/or distribution.13.
Provides ongoing administrative support for Program Coordinator and Health Educators and assists with other general office duties and projects as assigned.14.
Attends required trainings, and performs other related duties as required.Requirements: High School Diploma required.
AA Degree preferred1.
Minimum of one year of experience performing data entry or related professional experience that offers specific and substantial preparation for the duties of the position.Requirements:1.
